Document Description
Development of Phase 2 of the landfill is comprised of 38 acres of land adjacent to the existing Phase 1. The total landfill is approximately 159.6 acres. The proposed Phase 2 landfill area has an estimated capacity of 2,464,000 cubic yards (cy). The landfill sequencing of Phase 2 is proposed in 4 cells with initial development occurring in Cell 1 with an estimated 380,000 cy. The 1st development within the Phase 2 landfill area or Cell 1 is expected to reach capacity around July 2007.
