Document Description
The proposed action would decommission and remove Natomas Mutual Water Company's five existing unscreened diversion facilities on the Sacramento River and Natomas Cross Canal, and construct two new facilities with fish screens on the Sacramento River. Improvements to the Natomas Mutual internal canal system are also included to ensure water deliveries can be made to all parts of its service area. The proposed action would be implemented in three phases. Phase I would be implemented immediately and Phase II and III when funds become available. The proposed action would improve conditions for native fish species by removing impediments to migration and reduce entrainment.
