Document Description
Review a draft Negative Declaration (ND) associated with the update the City's Housing Element consistent with State Housing law specifically Government Code Section 65580-65589.8. The Housing Element is one of the seven mandated elements of the General Plan according to state law. The Housing Element shall consist of an identification and analysis of existing and projected housing needs and a statement of goals, policies, quantifiable objectives, financial resources, and scheduled programs for the preservation, improvement, and development of housing. The Housing Element shall also identify adequate sites for housing including rental housing, factory-built housing and mobilehomes, and shall make adequate provision for the existing and projected needs of all economic segments of the community (Government Code Section 65583).
