Document Description
The Project involves constructing geotechnical trenches and dozer cuts (scraping of the existing surface) in order to locate an active earthquake fault. Permittee anticipates the need for up to approximately five new trenches and three dozer cuts. The trenches would measure approximately 300 feet in length, 5 to 20 feet in depth and approximately 30 to 100 feet in width. Four geotechnical borings, approximately 6 inches in diameter will be drilled with a tuck mounted drill rig. The Project includes disturbance of up to 15 acres of undeveloped land as a result of trench digging, boring and Project area access.
