Document Description
The LRP allows the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) to enter into an agreeement with EMWD to provide financial incentives for the proposed Project. The proposed Project would increase regional water supply reliability by replacing demand for imported water supplies within EMWD's service area. Benefits to Metropolitan include strengthening regional supply reliablity, reduced regional costs for water importation, and deferred capital improvements.
