Document Description
The proposed project consists of repairing/stabilizing 45 feet of the right side of the Napa Riverbank. The proposed riverbank stabilization project includes removal of an abandoned auto body and preservation of eight existing Alder trees. It is proposed that a riprap trench will be constructed behind the Alder trees and that rock riprap will be installed approximately nine feet up the riverbank. Upstream of the project site, a root wad will be installed to divert flows away from the bank and into the center of the channel. Stacked coir fiber logs are proposed to be installed at the downstream end of the project reach to protect the toe of the bank.
