Document Description
The "project" is the acquisition of two parcels of land, totaling 12.7 acres, located in the oxbow of the Napa River in downtown Napa. The property has been used for fill and grazing, and is otherwise undeveloped. The restoration will be accomplished through removal of fill and levees, as well as non-native exotic plants which have overtaken native species on the site. The property will be reconnected to the active Napa River channel through re-establishment of tidal sloughs and fresh water seasonal wetlands for fish and wildlife habitat.
