Document Description
The Resources Agency awarded Ecosystem Restoration Program fund to The Nature Conservancy (TNC) for acquisition of fee title and conservation easements within the Consumnes River and Mokelumne River floodplain areas. The grant as a whole will involve free title acquisition of one parcel in Sacramento County, conservation easement acquisitions to preserve agricultural land in Sacramento and/or San Joaquin County, start-up stewardship tasks, and participation in restoration planning. The proposed activity is a cost-share contribution toward fee acquisition of the Silverado Property in Sacramento County.
