Document Description
UCSB is proposing to convert 178,700 square feet (approximately 4.11 acres) of Robertson Field with artificial turf. In addition, the project will remediate 1.4 acres (59,800 square feet) of natural turf remaining on Robertson Field to include reseeding, irrigation upgrades, and general grading improvements.

Conversion of Robertson Field to artificial turf would not change the use or character of the area and there would be benefits to drainage and surface water runoff. Grading would occur on an already developed area and the area would be restored to its original use after grading. There would be no impacts to biological resources.
