The proposed project includes the following major components: Removal of harmful invasive plants and algae from the water so that the lake functions as a more viable habitat for fish; Replacement of the fencing currently surrounding the lake; Install bank stabilization materials to be comprised of geotextile coir fabric and native grasses. After the coir geotextile has been fixed to the bank, rooted native plants can be installed into the fabric; and Replacement of existing signage around the lake regarding public access, swimming, and dumping regulations.
