Document Description
The upper north and south fork Fuller Creek sediment reduction project will seek to improve 11 miles or rural dirt roads resulting in an estimated prevention and elimination of 7,310 yds of sediment delivery to the creek and its tributaries. The project will include stormproofing activities at identified sites that include installation of culverts, rolling chips, outsloping, and other techniques known to reduce and eliminate sediment deliver to the creeks. The implementation of the roadwork will be aimed at improving water quality by reducing upslope erosion impacts to the aquatic resources. Thereby enhancing salmonid migration and spawning in tributaries and main stem of the Gualala River.
