LADWP proposes to remove Silver Lake and Ivanhoe Reservoirs from direct service to the LADWP water distribution system. Project elements include: a 110 million gallon buried storage reservoir at the HWSG site, a 4 MW hydroelectric power generation facility at or near the HWSG site, regulating station and bypass pipeline through Silver Lake Reservoir, changed operation of SLRC.
