The proposed project consists of reconfiguring existing salt ponds and accompanying water distribution systems at the Moss Landing Wildlife Area to provide maximum wildlife and habitat values using minimal personnel and a minimal amount of water manipulation. The project is designed to provide a variety of habitats for nesting, roosting, and foraging birds in the project area throughout the year.
