Document Description
The project involves the subdivision and residential development of approximately 29 acres in the City of Adelanto. The project will result in impacts to Mohave Ground Squirrel, a species designated as threatened under CESA. The permit referenced above as issued by DFG authorizes incidental take of the species under CESA that may result with implementation of the project. Issuance of the permit by DFG is based on a finding that, among other things, all impacts on the species resulting from the authorized take will be minimized and fully mitigated under CESA through various avoidance and other mitigation measures, including the acquisition and permanent preservation of approximately 29 acres of habitat for the species.
