Document Description
The proposed project is the amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the Placentia Redevelopment Project Area in accordance with the standards of the California Community Redevelopment Law (CRL), Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et seq. This is the second amendment to the Redevelopment Plan (the "Amendment No. 2") and entails the addition of 7.7 acres of developed land to the existing Placentia Redevelopment Project Area which totals 275 acres. The existing Placentia Redevelopment Project Area was intially adopted in 1983 and subsequently amended for the first time in 1990. In additiona, the proposed amendment will extend the eminent domain authority for an additional twelve years. The PLacentia Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") desires to continue to limit its eminent domain authority to all properties within the total proposed Project Area except properties designated in the General Plan or the Zoning Ordinance for residential uses or properties used for residential purposes.
