Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) propose to rehabilitate State Route 33 in Kern and Kings counties, from 200 meters (approximately 656 feet) south of the Kern County line at kilometer post 118.45 (post mile 73.60) to State Route 41 in Kings County at Kilometer post 12.6 (post mile 7.8). The improved roadway would include two 3.6-meter (12-foot) travel lanes and two 1.2-meter (4-foot) shoulders. The grade would be elevated, culverts installed, and conveyance ditches constructed to eliminate flooding.
