The project consists of improvements, under encroachment permit, to mitigate traffic impacts associated with the Chumash Casino development on the Santa Ynez Indian Reservation. Improvements include intersection signalization, right and left turn channelization, wide existing paved shoulders, overlay existing pavement, and construct a retaining wall.
