Document Description
The landscaped grass lot adjacent to the east side of the Carnegie SVRA Ranger Station provides a welcoming and inviting environmental for park visitors as they arrive through the main park entrance. Recently, park visitors and staff have begun using the main park area as a short cut to access the main park road. Signs have been installed indicating the area is closed, yet this has not deterred the vehicle traffic. In order to ensure the continued aesthetic quality of the park entrance and prevent further damage to the landscaping, a post rail fence will be installed around the perimeter of the grass area. The fence will be constructed of pilar core, with 4 posts set in concrete every 8 feet. The fence will allow for pedestrain access and will help to delineate the entrance road.
