Document Description
Within the maintenance yard at Carnegie SVRA is a dirt and cobble area located to the west of the vehicle fueling station and adjacent to the open storage shed that has become degraded and uneven due to heavy vehicle use. During the winter months, the area becomes muddy and inaccessible for park staff. This project will provide a cement pad connecting the fueling station to the storage shed for safe, maintainable, year round vehicle access. The area will require minor grading to the level and prepare the site. Approximately 3-4 inches of aggregate road base will be placed north of the cement pad to provide adequate drainage and absorption of water run-off and allow for year round access.
