Document Description
The Operator proposes to alter the streambed within an area no more than 30 feet downstream of I-5 by removing accumulated sediment, trash, and non-native vegetation to reduce flooding. The streambed at this location consists of an earthen channel located between the freeway and a residential area near downtown San Juan Capistrano. Vegetation within and adjacent to the channel consists primarily of non-native plants. No sensitive species are known to occur at this location. There are no permanent impacts associated with the project.
