Document Description
Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-0442-3 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601 for the following project. The culvert at PM 38.06 is considered to lie within an unnamed drainage under Department jurisdiction, the other culverts are not on Department jurisdictional drainages. The culvert will be extended 27 meters and a 22-meter downdrain attached to bring flow down to grade. At the outfall of the culvert, downdrain rock rip-rap will be placed to dissipate energy. As a result of the culvert extension, a small wetland area (approximately 1000 square feet) currently at the base of the fill slop will be filled. A new wetland area, immediately below the rock rip-rap, will be created to mitigate for the impacts to the existing wetland.
