Document Description
This maintenance program (bank stabilization) prevents erosion and protects property from flooding. Spot repairs (placement of riprap material) will be performed as needed along existing armored banklines, jetties, and training structures located along the lower Colorado River between river miles 108.0 and 108.8 No work will occur on unprotected banklines. No excavation and no clearing of riparian native vegetation will occur below the Ordinary High Water Mark, and all placements of materials will occur on the face of the previously armored banklines to fill any holes.
