Nature: The Order updates the previous Waste Discharge Requirements for the landfill, requiring additional investigation and monitoring to address petroleum hydrocarbon contamination and reporting necessary to insure that future site development does not pose a threat to the quality of groundwater and bay water.
Purpose: To confirm that quality and beneficial uses of waters of the State of California are protected.
