Document Description
The Prairie City SVRA has become a popular facility for OHV recreation. Expansion of adjacent communities has increased the use of park facilities. The park's existing 15- to 20-year old facilities need enhancement to meet current and future demand. There is a growing need to provide various forms of popular non-OHV recreational activities, including rock climbing, skateboarding, and x-games facilities. The proposed project would provide an OHV Environmental/Safety Training Facility. The new facility would serve the youth of Northern California and the greater Sacramento Area, including the location urban communities of Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Granite Bay, and El Dorado Hills, and support youth programs for the California Police Activities Leagues.
