The project includes replacing the existing wires ("conductors") and insulators on the existing San Mateo-Martin #4 60kV power line with new wires ("reconductoring") and modifying facilities at the existing San Mateo, Burlingame, Millbrae, and Martin Substations to accommodate the 115kV circuit. The proposed project would take place on approximately a 12-mile stretch of power lines in San Mateo County.
