Document Description
The prrposed project is an amendment to the approved Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for an existing trash transfer facility. The proposed amendment would include modifications to current operating conditions, physical modifications to the exitsing facility/structures, and expansion of the use into an area previously not within the project boundaries. The project site (including the proposed expansion area) is a 10.98-acre site located at the southeast corner of the Faraday Avenue/Orion Street intersection. The proposed expansion area consists of 3.9 acres at the northern edge of the property immediately adjacent to the roadway intersection. The expansion area would be used for storage of empty containers and for parking.
