Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2016-0178-R5) to the project applicant, Cachuma Operation and Maintenance Board. The project proposes to remove an existing Arizona-type concrete crossing over Quiota Creek (Crossing 0A) and it replace it with a 55-foot prefabricated concrete bottomless arched culvert (bridge) allowing approx. 5.95 miles of streambed habitat to be accessible to southern CA steelhead (Onchorynchus mykiss).
Project will result in impacts to 0.92 acre of streambed vegetated with mulefat, cottonwood, and willow riparian species. All stripped and exposed areas will be revegetated following the revegetation plan required with the Streambed Alteration Agreement for this project.
