Document Description
The County of San Bernardino, Department of Airports, has prepared a Master Plan for Chino Airport. This plan defines the Airport's role over the next twenty years and identifies future facility needs to suppoort this role and meet project demand. The Chino Airport Master Plan proposes a number of physical improvements to Chino Airport. 1. Extend Runway 8L-26R 662 feet east; 2. Acquire approximately 65 acres of land fee simple and a 30-acre easement to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards for the Runway Protection Zone (RPZ); 3. Relocate the Instrument Landing System (ILS) from Runway 26R-to 26L; 4. Develop new taxiways; and 5. Develop new apron building, roadway, and automobile parking
