The purpose of the proposed Residential GM Ordinance Extension is to re-enact growth management controls whose term of application has expired. The objective of the RGMO is to manage the rate of residential growth consistent with the provisions of the City's General Plan and Land Use Element and to minimize the potential for residential growth to adversely impact the environment.
