Document Description
The project is the installation of an outfall and free-span bridge on a tributary to Sulphur Springs Creek, as part of the development of 70 residential units, lacated off Landmark Drive at the southern end of the Hiddenbrooke Residential Development, in the City of Vallejo, Solano County. In order to address storm drainage considerations, a detention basin will be constructed in an upland portion of the site. Storm drainage will be conveyed from the detention basinto an outfall located in a tributary to Sulphur Springs Creek via an 18-inch pipe. The outfall will consist of a 10 foot by 20 foot ungrouted rip rap spillway in the tributary stream. Loose rock rip rap will be used to construct the outfall. The dimensions of the spillway will be 20 feet long by 10 feet wide. A minor amount of blackberry, mugwort and non-native annual grasses and ruderal species may be removed from the banks to the facilitate outfall construction. In addition to the outfall, a free-spanning bridge over the tributary will be installed to provide access to the lands to the south, with the exception of the removal of approximately seven (7) immature oak trees consisting of four (4) small saplings and three (3) other individuals less than eight (8) inches in diameter at breast height. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-0348-3 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, MR. dave Egan, Triad Communities, L.P.
