Document Description
A paved access road runs from the Visitor's Center to Hearst San Simeon State Historic Monument and crosses, or is adjacent to, several unnamed drainages that tributary to Arroyo del Puerto Creek. The road averages 250 round trips by bus daily during the summer season, and failure of th road would be very costly to the State and could result in serious injury to the public. However, the access road has degraded in several locations and rquires repair. SAA #1600-2003-0045-3
