Install six pitfall at each of three sites: Kentucky Creek, Purdon Creek, and Jones Bar in South Yuba River State Park to monitor small mammals as part of the ongoing South Yuba River Resource Inventory. Traps will be 6 inch circumference and 8 inches deep and each site will also have one 2 foot tall plastic drift fence buried to a depth of 1 inch.
