Document Description
The 2003 maintenance work will consist of removing approximately 10,000 cubic yards of sediment that has accumulated in this reach and is hindering the designed flood flow capacity of the channel in this location. The work will be done with excavators, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, and other standard excavation equipment, using dump trucks to move the sediment to a designated spoiling area on an adjacent upland site, in summer or early fall when weather conditions allow access without significant disturbance to aquatic or riparian habitats.
