Document Description
This project consists of five 4-inch diameter, 20-foot deep test borings for geo-technical purposes related to the Auburn Folsom Road Widening Project. The test borings are all located along the State Recreation Area boundary. The work will be completed with the use of a small track mounted radio controlled drill rig. The boring sites will be accessed from Auburn-Folsom Boulevard. The test holes will be back filled with bentonite-cement slurry. The project consists of minor alterations in the condition of land that does not impact health, mature or scenic trees. A 5024 cultural resources evaluation has be prepared and there are no impacts to cultural resources.
