Document Description
Replace rotting and sagging footbridge on Leiffer Trail in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park to prevent collapse of the existing bridge. The new bridge will be of the same size footprint and design as the old bridge. Project will be performed between September 16 and January 31 to work outside of the breeding season for the northern spotted owl and marbled murrelet. Precautionary measures will be taken to prevent the possibility of sediment and debris from entering the stream. Project will protect public safety and support continued use and maintenance of the trail.
