Document Description
This project will establish photographic monitoring stations at Mammoth Bar off Highway Vehicle Area within Auburn SRA. Photo monitoring is required as part of the Wildlife Habitat Protection Plan developed for the OHV area. Up to 35 stations will be established at staging areas, representative trail sites and in other areas where restoration, erosion control or other needs dictate. The photo monitoring stations will consist of 3" diameter stamped benchmarks driven 18" into the ground at each station. The benchmarks will be flush with the ground so they do not create a hazard on trials or other use areas. No vegetation will be disturbed through the placement of the benchmarks or during monitoring. Monitoring will occur in the early spring or early fall.
