Document Description
This project will repair the existing sprinkler system at the Auburn Dam Overlook Staging Area. The water supply system is in working condition; however, components of the electrical system for the timers need replacement. There are three independent sprinkler control areas, each requiring a separate electrical line. A trench will be dug from the electric timer boxes to the sprinkler control boxes to uncover and replace damaged electrical wire. The length of the trenching will be 75 feet and the depth of the trenching will be 24 inches. The trench will be backfilled with the soil removed. The only vegetation removal and ground disturbance will be along the 75-foot trench line. This area has been previously disturbed and consists of Himalayan Blackberry and annual grasses. A PRC 5024 review has been completed and there are no cultural resource concerns with the project.
