Document Description
This project will build 13 one-story temporary buildings, a total of 15,956 ASF/17,160 GSF complex; and will include 4 faculty office buildings, 3 buildings for the Childcare/Infant Toddler program (will be converted to classrooms next year), 4 buildings for classrooms (lecture), 1 administration building and 1 restroom building. The purpose is to provide urgently needed faculty offices and classroom space until the state finded Faculty Office/Classroom building is constructed. The main beneficiaries are the faculty (offices) and the students (classrooms). This project is non-state funded.

Project is consistent with the CSUDH adopted master plan. The proposed development occurs on university lands on a project site of no more than five acres substantially surrounded by urban uses. The project site has no value as habitat for endangered, rare or threatened species. Approval of the project would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, water quality, or historic resources. The site can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services.
