Document Description
The Operator proposes to stabilize a 30-inch oak tree located on top of the river bank behind a residence. The oak has roots that have been exposed by high river flows and the tree is being undermined. Rock and soil will be wedged under the tree to reinforce the bank and tree to try to give the tree additonal soil in which to root. Wooden posts may be driven next to the tree to stabilize the rock on the slope and create a footing. All work will be done by hand and access will be through the backyard. This section of bank has been eroding due to lack of vegetation. Willow cuttings will be installed from the back of the concrete structure t the southern property line. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-0024-3 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
