Document Description
Install plastic fruit tree netting on eaves of the top floor of the Peteluma Adobe to prevent cliff swallows (Hirundo pyrrhonota) from building mud nests and damaging historic adobe walls. Netting will be stapled to wood lath strips that in turn will be stapled to the non-historic wood underside of the ceiling and will be installed annually Feb. -March before the birds arrive and removed 2-3 months later. This project protects public health and safety and a cultural resource.
