Document Description
The PIER Food Industry Energy Research (FIER) program is funding proposals encouraging energry efficiency, cost savings, reliability and environmental stewardship in the California food processing industry. This project demonstrates the use of new adsorption refrigeration technology for food processing. Adsorption technology uses low temperature waste heat to produce refrigeration.
