Document Description
UC Berkeley will perform preliminary work on economic analyses on climate change impacts. The work will 1) apply a computable general equilibrium model of the California economy to estimate economic impacts on the stat of climate change and measures to abate greenhouse gases; 2) conduct research to gauge how technological change may affect these impact; 3) analyze underlying determinants of energy demand and their implications for the State's response to climate change 4) study detailed economic aspects of the interrelations among potential climate change, California's engineered water infrastructure and water use for agriculture, hydroelectric generation and household use.
