The City of Citrus Heights in Sacramento County is preparing a Specific Plan to guide the revitalization and enhancement of Auburn Boulevard between Sylvan Corners (at the intersetion of Auburn Boulevard/Old Auburn Road/Sylvan Road) and the Placer County Line near Interstate 80. The proposed specific plan will address multiple aspects of the 1.5 mile stretch of Auburn Boulevard including:
* Land use/economic activities;
* Property and building siting and appearance;
* Parking lot configuration and design;
* Pedestrian circulation;
* Sidewalks and landscaping;
* Property access;
* Utilities;
* Travel lanes and bicycle lanes;
* Medians and turn lanes; and
* Intersections.
