Document Description
This project involves an amendment of an existing permit to mine and reclamation plan for an 54-acre mining operation to increase the maximum extraction depth from 18 feet to 60 feet. The extraction area for the existing mining operation is 48 acres, the processing plant and storage area is 20 acres, an asphalt processing area is 16.8 acres. The proposal does not involve any new extraction areas or an increase in the aggregate produced on a yearly basis or an increase in daily traffic volumes. The existing operation is limited to the production and transport of no more than 450,000 tons per year.
