Document Description
The City of Fremont adopted a revised Housing and Land Use Elements on May 13, 2003. Housing Element Implementation Program 12 and Land Use Policy LU 1.6, Implementation Program 1 call for updating from the City's Density Bonus Ordinance consistent with the recently amended State law. The proposed revisions to the Density Bonus Ordinance are proposed to maintain compliance with State law as well as to consolidate the City's Density Bonus provisions into one location for ease of use. The proposed Zoning Ordinance does not authorize any new construction, or development projects. Subsequent projects will undergo environmental review to determine if they pose any potential to impact to the environment.
