Document Description
NMWD & NSD are proposing construction of a recycled water treatment facility (RWTF) adjacent to an effluent storage pond and a wildlife pond north of Highway 37. The RWTF would provide additional treatment of the secondary effluent to tertiary levels to meet California Department of Health Services (DHS). The treatment process includes coagulation, filtration, and disinfection. The RWTF would have an initial capacity of 500,000 gallons per day (0.5 mgd) of recycled wastewater that would be distributed via an eight-inch high-density polyethylene (HPDE) pipeline for landscape irrigation at the Stone Tree Golf Course.
