Document Description
The Project is the adoption of Ordinance 04-02, which would, if approved by Contra Costa voters, authorize the amendment of Ordinance 88-01 - the Contra Costa Transportation Improvement and Growth Management Ordinance (as amended) - continue the existing Measure C Sales Tax, and implement a new Transportation Expenditure Plan, including revisions to the Measure C Growth Management Program, and the forwarding of the draft final Transportation Expenditure Plan outlined in Ordinance 04-02 to the governing bodies of the incorporated cities in Contra Costa County for their approval. The draft final Transportation Expenditure Plan must be approved by a majority of the incorporated juridictions representing a majority of the population residing within those incorporated areas, and by the County Board of Supervisors before it can be placed on the ballot for voter approval.
