Document Description
The project consists of minor staging area improvements as recommended in consultation with California Department of Fish and Game, and Santa Clara County Game Warden. * out-sloping the existing parking lot that is composed of a permeable earth surface. The 1.5% out-sloping will be towards the intermittent creek that has an existing 60 ft wide vegetated buffer along its edge. * create a u-shaped turnaround loop from the east side of the existing parking lot for equestrian turnaround. * install gate to close access to existing equestrian trailer turnaround/equestrian staging area. * relocate an existing portable toilet. * remove one existing drainage culvert. * re-organize vehicle parking to separate car and trailer parking areas. * make minor improvements to bridge entrances/access including removal of existing bollards. * trim two redwood trees at edge of existing lot and new turnaround loop. * establish one-way entrance and one-way exit with better visibility to main access road (Hecker Pass Hwy. 152).
