Wright Park

The project involves the construction of a 30.1-acre sports park in the East Elk Grove Specific Plan area. The project site is currently zoned for recreation and single-family residential uses and the East Elk Grove Specific Plan designates the site for a sports park. The sports park would be owned and maintained by the Elk Grove Community Services District (CSD). The CSD manages over 40 park sites and maintains over 400 acres of parks, trails, open spaces and landscape corridors in the Elk Grove area. As shown in the site plan, the proposed sports park would include soccer fields, tennis courts, a tot-lot/picnic area, open space play areas, concrete paths and restrooms.
