Document Description
The proposed reclamation involves filling one small pond/quarry pit, and recontouring the steep slopes of three additional pond/quarry pits. The applicant is proposing to recreate approximately 16-acres of native riparian and wetland habitat, including Valley Oak Woodland, Sycamore Riparian Woodland, Willow Riparian Woodland, Riparian Scrub, and Grassland. The applicant proposes to maintain and monitor the revegetation areas for a minimum of 5 years to meet the conditioned success criteria. The applicant will also upgrade the recreational trail. Long-term maintenance of the site, as well as maintenance of the recreational trail will be the responsibility of the Department of Parks and Recreation. The proposed project will entail 44,795 cubic yards of cut and 103,326 cubic yards of fill.
